HEALTHCARE PATHWAYS

practical skills, confidence, and professional experience

Whether students are considering careers as nurses, physicians, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, or other healthcare workers, the program helps them identify their interests, prepare for college and career opportunities, and develop skills that can be used both in healthcare settings and everyday life.

The Healthcare Pathways Program helps high school students explore careers in healthcare through hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and supervised clinical shadowing experiences. Designed for students interested in medical careers, the program provides early exposure to healthcare environments while helping participants build practical skills, confidence, and professional experience.

Students learn foundational healthcare knowledge through a combination of online coursework, in-person instruction, and real-world observation opportunities. Through clinical shadowing experiences, participants have the opportunity to observe healthcare professionals and clinic staff, explore different healthcare career paths, and gain a better understanding of the day-to-day work performed in medical settings.
